Notes: 1 Fisichella suffered a heavy accident in Saturday 2nd practice and was advised by doctors not to take part in qualifying.
2 Having done only an installation lap in the last of the four free practice sessions, both Arrows completed only one qualifying run, deliberately slowing in the final sector to ensure they ended up outside the 107% time. By doing so, they fulfilled the team's obligations to "participate" in the event, thus avoiding any sanction from the FIA. |
