2002 sees a completed revamped circuit at Hockenheim. The old circuit with its long straights making it the fastest circuit bar none, has gone. Instead a new "modern" circuit has been constructed, utilising the old start-finish straight and stadium section. Initial reaction from the drivers is mixed, some prefer it, others say it is now no different from any other circuit on the calendar. Time will tell whether it produces good racing. |
