In recent years Suzuka has been the finale to the F1 year after the abandonment of Adelaide in Australia and ranks second only to Spa in popularity with the drivers. Its characteristic figure-of-eight track is a mixture of tight and wide, fast corners as it underlates through its surroundings which include an Amusment Park next door. Set-up is basically a compromise given the varying corners, hence medium downforce. |
