A fast circuit bounded by two sharp hairpins at either end of the track, the Gilles Villeneuve circuit, named after Jacques Villeneuve's father who lost his life in crash during practice for the 1982 Belgian GP at Zolder, tests the cars to the full with heavy braking and rapid acceleration. |
