Notes:
Fisichella replaces Badoer in the injured Massa's Ferrari seat. Vitantonio Liuzzi takes his place at Force India. I understand the lure of Ferrari to an Italian, particularly at Monza, but I'd say Fisi should have stayed where he was. He qualifies 14th, while both Force Indias are through to Q3.
Heidfeld stops early in Q2 with an engine problem - brand new engine, his 7th of the 8 engine allocation for the season.
Kubica also out later in Q2, apparently also with engine problems - bad news for BMW!
