Notes:
All cars out on track at the beginning of the second period - expecting rain! Mid-afternoon thunderstorms are not unusual at this track, as we've seen from past GPs. After their first excursion, they all stay in the garages until the last 2 minutes of the session when all but the top 5 go out for another go.
Gearbox problems for Wurz see him going no further than the first period while his teammate Rosberg secures 6th on the grid. The Hondas are still seriously off the pace and the Renaults seem to be struggling here too. |
