Notes:

Sakon Yamamoto takes over the second Super Aguri seat from Franck Montagny. He doesn't have the greatest start to his F1 career, crashing his new SA06 in Saturday morning practice.

Massive accident for Speed takes him out early in the first session.

Clash between Ralf Schumacher and Pedro de la Rosa early in the third session sees them both cruising back to the pits for repairs. De la Rosa has a puncture but Ralf seems to have suspension or steering damage which may prove to be the end of his session.

Ralf emerges from the garage in the closing minutes of the session, nearly taking out Button's Honda approaching its pitbox.

Raikkonen on provisional pole and goes off track trying to defend the position. Nobody currently challenging his time.
